Connecting Stake and Ward Accounts

What it means

If you have a Stake account, and each of your Wards has their own account, these accounts can be linked.

This only affects Priesthood Ordinations.

If the accounts are linked, the Ward can enter a Melchizedek Priesthood Ordination. They then enter the details of the Bishop's interview. The Stake can then access this same request and enter the details of the Stake interview.

How to link accounts

  • From the Stake Account, go to the Wards list.
  • Edit a Ward and you will see an option to link a Ward account by entering their username and password.
  • Once the accounts are linked, any Ward ordination requests will appear in the Stake Ordinations list, with a red "W" next to them, indicating that they originated in the Ward.
